Police Find Skeletal Remains Near Furnace Road

Fairfax County Police have found what they believe to be human remains. Police responded for a suspicious event just after 8 p.m. on Monday, July 12. The investigation determined , what appeared to be,  skeletal human remains located just off the roadway in the 10200 block of Furnace Road.

Crime Scene and Homicide detectives responded to investigate the incident. The apparent remains will be collected and examined to develop further information.
