Cardinal Bank on Braddock Road Robbed

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Saturday, March 6 around 11:20 a.m. A man entered the Cardinal Bank, at 10695 Braddock Road, near the intersection of Route 123, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The bank employee complied and the suspect fled. He was last seen running across the parking lot towards businesses in University Mall. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, around 5 feet 10 inches tall and thin. He may have weighed between 150 and 160 pounds. He wore a black backpack, dark sunglasses, a mask, a brown hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
